Gerrit Langer, Founder & CEO of Medicoinswiss
I am an entrepreneur, visionary and founder of Medicoinswiss Ltd. – a platform that completely rethinks product safety.
My professional journey began in the health and care sector – close to people, close to reality. It was there that I realized how dangerous counterfeit products can be for human lives. What began with a sense of responsibility developed into a mission.
With Medicoinswiss, I have built a company that makes exactly that possible. We combine blockchain technology, NFT certificates, artificial intelligence and post-quantum cryptography to create a platform on which products can be checked for authenticity worldwide in real time.
But Medicoinswiss is more than just technology.
It is an ecosystem that offers manufacturers, brands and end customers a new form of digital trust – in nutritional supplements, cosmetics, the pharmaceutical industry and beyond.
In my role as founder, strategist and entrepreneur, I not only get ideas off the ground, but also bring them to fruition with clarity, perseverance and a deep sense of responsibility for quality.

Justification of the name - Medicoinswiss
Medicoinswiss stands for verified authenticity in digital products - medically relevant, certified like a digital coin and in accordance with Swiss quality standards.
The name Medicoinswiss is made up of three core values of our platform:
1. Medi
stands for medically relevant products, health, integrity - but also for medicine, MedTech and food supplements, i.e. sectors in which product safety is vital for survival.
2. Coin
does not stand for cryptocurrency, but for the principle of a unique digital certificate:
Just as a physical coin is uniquely minted, every item is provided with a digital, forgery-proof NFT - a digital token of authenticity, not speculative trading.
“Coin” = symbol for digital distinctiveness & ownership - not for crypto.
3. Swiss
stands for what is associated worldwide with trust, precision and quality: Swiss standards, Swiss data protection, Swiss values.
